Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored on our secure servers in Newbury, Berkshire and Ash, Kent. Each of our virtual servers is partitioned so that access can only be gained by authorised users.

Talk Staff utilises systems that are kept in 2 of the most secure places in the world. The Data Centres are state of the art nuclear bomb-proof bunkers which were designed to protect command and control systems in the event of an attack. Both Data Centres are ISO27001 and PCI DSS compliant.

Data that is stored outside of the Talk staff servers is stored at Rackspace Limited, this is a dedicated UK only data centre. It is accredited and certified to ISO27001, AICPA-SOC and PCI-DSS standards


Does my data leave the UK?

No, our servers are all located in the UK.


Data transmission to MyEPayWindow

All information is transmitted to and from MyEPayWindow over the internet securely via SSL encryption - the same as that used for online banking and secure payments.


Data Storage

In accordance with principle 5 of the EU-GDPR, data will only be held on MyEPayWindow for a 'limited' time period.

  • Data will be anonymised for leavers, 12 months after their leave date.
  • Uploaded documents will be deleted automatically after a set time
  • Auto Enrollment letters will be stored for 12 months; other documents for a maximum of 3
  • Documents uploaded by employers will be stored for 2 months after the pay date to which they apply

How long can I access my payslips for after I have left employment?

Accounts are accessible for 15 months after your leave date, you will be notified prior to account closure. We recommend changing your email address to a private email address and downloading copies of your payslips before the account is closed.
